What can I say. We had the pleasure of meeting Tony Joe himself. He is serious about his meat and freshness of food that he serves. We talked about where his meat is sourced, how the food is prepared. We went with his most popular steak cut, the RIBEYE. We were not disappointed. I'll be going back soon! I almost forgot we get served unlimited beef broth that is made in house and its included in the meal!

Terrific place! I've been here several times for breakfast and steaks. Reminds me of steakhouses in the US. Quality cuts and cooked to perfection. I usually include pictures with my reviews but impossible with how delicious the food is here. The staff and owners are very welcoming and provide excellent customer service. I've been to more expensive places in CDMX but the quality at Tony Joe's is far better. Highly recommended and my go-to steakhouse in the city! For the record, I always order my steaks medium. I've ordered T-Bone, Sirloin, and Ribeye, all which were made perfectly. Nice and pink on the inside. Doesn't need steak sauce either, it's that good. The meat juice with the meal (jugo de res I believe) is always delicious and goes well poured on top of the steak and fries after a couple sips. Enjoy!

They provide menus in English for those who don’t understand Spanish. The place is exceptionally clean, and the host is incredibly welcoming. The food is delicious, with detailed explanations about each dish. You can request non-spicy options or have spices served on the side. The prices are affordable, and the meat is of excellent quality.

Simply outstanding. This is a neighborhood steakhouse, so don t expect the fanciest chateaubriand or any 4 inch porterhouse. Things here are simple and North-of-Mexico inspired. Now service is impeccable as they welcome you with a courtesy cup of beef shank broth and prices are super affordable. We had a NY and Rib Eye and both came perfect (mine was ordered blue and was delivered masterfully red inside). They even offered to char any remaining fat from the NY on the grill and returned it just perfect for a final couple of tacos. Handmade tortillas, awesome salsas and a wine menu that starts at USD 10. Main recommendation? Come several times.
